The Day Service Center is a clean, safe and nurturing environment primarily for use by persons who are homeless. We provide showers, hygiene supplies, laundry facilities, restrooms, and storage lockers to stow personal belongings. Showers can be scheduled twice each week along with weekly laundry appointments.
For working individuals and students more frequent appointments are available. Homeless individuals can also receive general delivery mail at Ritter Center so they have an address for government forms and job applications and can stay connected to family and friends. Those actively searching for housing and/or work without access to a phone are encouraged to sign-up for one of our 200 private voicemail boxes. A person can then access their messages 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from any phone. This service is available for a period of 90 days, with extensions possible upon request. All day services for the homeless are provided to support their transition into housing and/or employment. |
