Family to Family Holiday Program

Help Marin's less fortunate have a joyous holiday season!
Image Ritter Center's Family to Family Holiday Program has provided holiday cheer to low income families and individuals in Marin since 1987. Generous donors are matched with families, seniors and disabled persons who may otherwise go without during the holiday season. Play Santa Claus this year and adopt a family for the holidays!

In December, specially chosen gifts are dropped off at our distribution center. Our corps of volunteers organize hundreds of bags of gifts which are then distributed in a traditional "holiday morning" style (complete with pictures with Santa Claus). For those not registered for the program Ritter Center hosts a "Toy Store" for one day following the formal program. This is open to all residents in Marin County and provides many parents with 1-2 small gifts for each of their children.  In 2008, more than 600 individuals participated in Family to Family.

We always run short on gifts for teens and survival gear for our homeless clients (see gift suggestions link below) and we can always use financial support to operate the program. If you would like to help brighten the holidays for a child, parent, senior, or a disabled or homeless adult, please either download the detailed materials below or call Connie Borges at 415.457.8182 ext. 103.
