SOS Marin Clothing Drive Set for Sat, Aug 14th

3rd Annual SOS Marin Clothing Drive - August 14, 2010

 After two highly successful years of conducting the SOS Marin joint donation drive here in Marin, Ritter Center and Goodwill Industries are happy to announce that Saturday, August 14th will be the date for the third annual SOS Marin clothing and household good drive. In fact, in our third year, the drive is adding new partners! This year, the Novato Human Needs Center and Bank of Marin are participating in this year's drive.

Donations can be dropped off to any of Goodwill’s 4 Marin County donations sites on Saturday, August 14th from 9am-5pm, including:

  • San Rafael Store – 809 Lincoln Avenue at Ritter Street, San Rafael (Enter donation area from 3rd Street, just past Lincoln)
  • Mill Valley Donation Site – 1 Camino Alto (in Safeway parking lot), Mill Valley
  • Novato Store – 936 7th Street, Novato (Between Grant Avenue and Novato Boulevard, next to the DMV) plus Donation Trailer behind Novato Store (Donation trailer is located behind mall on right)
  • Vintage Oaks Donation Site – Rowland Blvd and Vintage Way, Novato (Near Marshall’s, behind the Management Office)

Art Houses of Marin Gala a Rousing Success!
Art Houses of Marin Entertains and Inspires!

 A heartfelt thank you to all that made the Art Houses of Marin Gala such a phenomenal success! The event took place on May 1st at the incomparable Villa di Santa, the private residence of Don Santa, owner of Woodlands Market, in Kent Woodlands. And if the scenery wasn't inspiring enough on its own, the event program made the audience laugh and cry - sometimes at the same time!
